How do I book a session at SoundCheck?
You can easily book a session through our online booking system: https://soundcheck.studio/book-now/. Simply select the date, time, how many additional people you’re bringing, and whether you’d like to make your session recurring. Payment by card is required before you can book your session. The access code & corresponding instructions are sent to you 15 minutes before your session start time.
What is included in the studio rental?
Our studio comes fully equipped with high-quality gear, including drum kits, amps, microphones, keyboards, and more. Check out our full equipment list on Explore Studios. We’ve got just about everything you need – no need to lug your own gear unless you want to!
Where is Soundcheck located, and how do I get inside?
We are located at 110 Orr St, Suite 104, Columbia, MO, 65201. To access the studio, you’ll need to use a key from our lockbox located outside the main doors. Detailed instructions for entry will be sent to you 15 minutes before your session. Find parking in the lot across the street (the bus station parking lot), nearby street parking, or nearby garage parking. Use caution when parking, some spots require you to pay.
What if I need to cancel or reschedule my booking?
You can cancel or reschedule your booking by logging into your account on our login page. Please refer to our cancellation policy for details on refunds and rescheduling timeframes.
Do you have any rules or guidelines for using the studio?
Yes, we want to make sure everyone has a great experience! Please respect the equipment and leave the studio as you found it. Make sure to return the keys to the lockbox after your session. Can I bring my own gear to the studio?
Of course! While our studio is fully equipped, we understand that sometimes musicians prefer their own instruments and gear. Just let us know in advance if you need any special accommodations. Check out a full list of what we have on our Explore Studios page.
What should I do if I have technical issues during my session?
If you encounter any technical issues, please contact us immediately at (217) 899-6656, and we’ll do our best to assist you.
Can I book the studio for events or private gigs?
Absolutely! We offer event hosting services for house shows, gigs, and other private events. Fill out our event interest form to learn more about booking the space for your next event. We’d love to work with you!

How far in advance can I book a session?
You can book up to 365 days in advance, and as close as 30 minutes before the session starts.
How do I become a music instructor at Soundcheck?
If you’re interested in offering lessons at Soundcheck, please fill out our instructor interest form, and we’ll get back to you with more information on how we can work together to provide musicians with a better way to play! When you host lessons at Soundcheck, you’re running your own business within ours. We try to stay pretty hands-off and let you do what you do best.
Is Wi-Fi available in the studio?
Yes, we offer free Wi-Fi for all customers. The Wi-Fi login information is posted inside Soundcheck.
